About Katarina
From survival to self-discovery
My journey to this work began long before I knew it would become my purpose.
By the age of five, I was a war refugee, leaving behind everything familiar and beginning a new life in a foreign country. At eleven, I lost my mother to cancer. Five years later, I lost my father.
I grew up navigating loss, change, immigration, identity, and the question so many of us eventually ask:
Who am I beneath everything I have experienced, everything I have been taught, and everything the world expects me to be?
For many years, I searched for the answer outside of myself.
I carried anger, resentment, fear, and a deep sense that life was happening to me. I tried to understand why certain things had happened and what they meant about me and my life.
Then, one simple question from a dear friend began to change everything:
“Can you forgive?”
That question became the beginning of a much deeper journey inward.
The Journey Within
Through years of self-exploration, spiritual practices, personal development, and healing work, I began to see my experiences differently.
I learned that healing isn’t about erasing what happened or pretending that pain doesn’t exist. It’s about becoming conscious of what we carry, allowing ourselves to feel what needs to be felt, and choosing a different relationship with our experiences.
I discovered the power of forgiveness, self-compassion, surrender, and trusting the unfolding of my life.
Most importantly, I began to understand that life doesn’t have to happen to us for us to grow through it.
What once felt like the source of my deepest pain became part of the foundation of my purpose.
Alchemizing Pain Into Purpose
Today, I believe that the experiences we move through can become invitations to know ourselves more deeply.
Even the most painful experiences can hold meaning, wisdom, and an opportunity for transformation. It doesn’t mean we have to minimize our pain—it means we get to choose what we do with what we’ve been given.
We can become conscious of the beliefs we’ve inherited.
We can release patterns that no longer serve us.
We can reconnect with our bodies, our emotions, our inner wisdom, and our heart.
And we can begin creating a life that feels aligned—not simply one that looks good from the outside.
This is the work I now guide others through.
Why I Do This Work
My background in Sociology, in holistic life coaching, Reiki Tummo, and PSYCH-K®, have allowed me to bring together different approaches to personal transformation.
My work looks beyond surface-level habits and goals.
Because sometimes the problem isn’t that you don’t know what to do.
It’s that something deeper within you doesn’t yet feel safe, worthy, capable, or ready to receive the life you’re trying to create.
That’s where inner work begins.
I help people explore the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual layers of their lives so they can begin changing the patterns, beliefs, and stories that keep them from fully stepping into who they are.
The Journey Isn’t About Becoming Someone Else
It’s about removing the layers that aren’t truly you, so you can reconnect with your authentic self.
You may simply need to reconnect with the deepest part of your being—beneath the fear, conditioning, expectations, and old stories that have shaped who you believe you are.
My work is about helping you go deeper within, reconnect with yourself, and uncover what has been there all along.
Because sometimes the journey forward begins by coming home to yourself.
I am a spiritual being having a human experience.
I practice Reiki Tummo and holistic life coaching to help individuals connect to the deepest part of their being.
I believe in the interconnectedness of all beings, understanding that by creating inner peace we create collective peace.
My innate desire to connect and spread universal love drives me to utilize both my heart’s guidance and professional expertise to contribute to a more compassionate world, and help people be their best self.
